Dear students,

You can now find the slides of today's kick-off under Materials.

As we discussed, we will try to find a new appointment. Please fill out this survey until Sunday (06.11) at 11:59 pm. Do not only take the options you like, but all options that you are available at! If you cannot attend at any of the listed times, please additionally write an email to Timo listing which different lecture collides with the proposed time slot. (We know that the morning timeslots are rather unpopular, but they might give us a chance to find a possible slot for everyone). If we cannot find a time that works for everybody, we will stick to Wednesday, 10 am.

Under Information, you will now find a side Topics & Resources. Here you can once again find all the topics as well as the underlying literature. You are welcome to use additional literature for your talk and write-up, but please use the provided one as a guideline.

Remember, you must favor or block topics until Sunday (06.11) at 11:59 pm. You can do this on your Personal Status page. You can block up to two topics and must favor at least two topics. If you don't provide any preferences, we will assume you favor all and block no topics. Please ensure that you only favor and block topics from your course, i.e., only seminar topics if you take the seminar and only proseminar topics if you take the proseminar.

If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us

This is the joined course for the proseminar "Reinforcement Learning" and the Seminar "Deep Reinforcement Learning". The proseminar will discuss the theoretical basis of RL as well as popular RL algorithms, while the seminar will cover popular DRL algorithms and DRL exploration strategies.

The proseminar will include short presentations by the participants, as well as a write-up. The seminar will include short presentations by the participants, a programming project that will be solved in small groups, and a write-up.

The kick-off will take place on Wednesday, November 2 at 10 ct. in building E1.3 SR014. Participation is absolutely mandatory if you want to attend the seminar. If you have a colliding lecture, please contact us immediately. All empty seats will be filled immediately on November 2.
